"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." Isaiah 61:3

Master Of The Wind

I was walking my dog today in the park, and the wind was just so strong.  The sound of the leave rustling and falling to the ground all around me as it’s an extremely wooded area.  I looked up and then closed my eyes, succumbing to it all.   I felt overwhelmed like I was being lifted to another place, yet I had such a sense of peace at the same time….  The wind seemed to block out all of my thoughts and be in touch with the present.  The sun shining through the trees warming my face from the cold October air.  I felt God’s presence sweep in like a gale…  It reminded me of this devotional I wrote some time ago on another site called, “Master Of The Wind.”  It was a favorite among my readers so I thought I would share it with you on here – you simply need to click the link below and it will open in a different window.  I hope you are blessed by it.  But they that wait…..
Eagle

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” -Isaiah 40:31
