    Humility before honor

    “Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.” Proverbs 18:12 I have heard the saying, “death before dishonor,” on many an occasion. Usually while watching war movies. I often wonder – what does that really mean? Does it mean that one would fight to the point of death before bringing shame to one’s country?
