    Ode to the Shooting Star

“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” Psalms 8:3-4 (NIV) In the deepest darkest moments; in my wintry hour of despair, you send a shooting star firing through the air. Lighting up the night; distracting evil schemes, thoughts invading my mind; disappear like a dream. Into unknown galaxies they go, as quickly as they came. As the earth doth ebb and flow, In reverence to His name. Pure and pristine; swift in flight, joy has surely arrived tonight. Ode to The Shooting Star.…

    State your case

Isaac entreated the Lord on behalf of his wife, since she was sterile. The Lord heard his entreaty, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. Genesis 25:21 When you visit the doctors office, usually the doctor will say. How can I help you? When you stand in front of a judge, and are asked to give an account for something, you have to speak up and defend your case. If you say nothing, that’s exactly what will happen – nothing. After having heart complications and knee damage, the obvious thing would be to quit running, and focus on the simple yet valuable things in his life, like his marriage. His wife was quite upset to…

    Keep calm

“All this I have told you so that you will not fall away.  They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.  They will do such things (Sin) because they have not known the Father or me.” John 16:1-3 “I told you so.” No one likes the phrase, “I told you so.” The bible is full of prophecies that pertain to today. I opened my bible and immediately came to John 16. It was Jesus talking about the coming rejection. Meaning, a world that has completely turned away from God. It is all too often…

    Oh Christmas Tree

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” – Psalm 1:3  Every Christmas people put up trees to decorate their homes, and place their presents under. A tree is representative of life, because a tree only grows where there IS life.  When it has the proper water it blossoms in its season, never withers, and prospers. We first secure the tree, and then we adorn it with lights, and all sort of colored ornaments.  Then we place presents underneath the tree. “They deck it with…
